Get to Gas Semi-Skilled Course
Our Get to Gas part time evening course is specifically aimed at plumbers and semi-skilled individuals who already hold and can demonstrate practical competency in plumbing.
With the course lasting a duration of 12 weeks for 2 evenings per week it is structured to provide all relevant theoretical and practical knowledge necessary in preparation for completion of our ACS CCN1 Core Domestic Gas Safety qualification.
Examples of theory and practical training elements include:
- Pipework exercises
- Combustion
- Heating plan designs
- Meters, cookers, fires, water heaters and warm air units
- Boilers and heating systems
- Installing and servicing appliances
- Control systems
- Y plans and S plan designs and installations
- Flushing systems
- Flueing and ventilation
Candidates must attend a work placement to build a portfolio of evidence, Get Training is one of the only training providers in the country who assist candidates to source work placements with Gas Safe registered companies. With dedicated training advisors we work with you to provide the necessary placement to gain practical skills and build a portfolio of experience.
