Unvented Hot Water Training

TrainingThe aim of this course is to train candidates on the installation and safety requirements of unvented hot water systems.

The Water Supply Regulations have been in force in the United Kingdom for over five years, but many operatives still have to complete a form of recognised assessment in order to self certify work.

This course was developed to enable plumbing and heating engineers to confirm their competence in installing and maintaining unvented hot water storage systems. On successful completion it allows candidates membership of industry-standard Competent Persons Schemes.

It is illegal to work on unvented hot water systems with capacities of over 15l unless you hold the unvented hot water systems qualification.

This is a one day course which consists of training followed by a practical and written test. After booking a place on the course, participants are sent a revision pack to study in advance.

You will be recognised as being competent to design, install, service and maintain unvented systems and can therefore self certify your own work.
